  • 1st IICR Workshop 13-14 December 2012. The main objective of the 1st ICR Workshop was the discussion of the future aspects of cavitation related research, including numerical and experimental aspects of cavitation and material erosion due to cavitation, along with the objectives, targets and ambitions of ICR.
  • International Symposium on cavitation, organized every three years; the last one was organised in Singapore in August 2012 and attracted more than 300 participants (http://www.cav2012.sg/). Most members from the consortium participate in the scientific committee of this main event in the area of cavitation.
  • Institution of the Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) Conference on Fuel Injection Systems for IC Engines conference http://events.imeche.org/EventView.aspx?EventID=1152. The event was sponsored by major fuel injection system manufacturers, including Delphi, Bosch, Continental and Denso. It is held every 3 years (the next one is scheduled for Spring 2015) in London, UK and is it attended by more than 100 experts mainly coming from the industry but also from selected academic groups working in this area. City University participates in the organisation committee.
  • SIA Conference of Diesel Powertrains http://www.sia.fr/evenement_detail_diesel_powertrain_1107.htm(Societe Des Ingenieurs de l’automobile) attracts more than 250 participants form the Diesel engine industry and academia. It is held every 2 years in Rouen, France and the next one is scheduled for June 2014. Delphi is the main industrial sponsor of this event while City University participates in the organisation committee.
